Since I was young, my passion has been to fly.
I started to built radio-controlled aircraft at the age of 8 and took my glider pilot license and motor-glider at the age of 16. I wanted become an aeronautical engineer!
When I was attending the early university studies, I was suggested to graduate as an electrical engineer and to join the family company. I made lots of works as technical director for the family company, in particular electrical systems for airport buildings and passenger terminals.
In the year 2000 I started my own engineering company “SET s.r.l.” (Technical Elaborations and Services). I have developed electrical and HVAC systems design for buildings, passenger terminals as well as electrical substations and boiler rooms.
Now I’m developing designs for airfield lighting systems and aircraft ground support equipment, such as:
- ground lighting system for runways, taxiways and aprons;
- 400Hz ground power units;
- ground air conditioning systems;
- De-Icing/Anti-Icing ground facilities.
Now I work more close to the airplanes, as well as I continue to fly through the clouds …
Enjoy your life!
